July 2012 - Heading to D.C.

Abby, her friend, Megan, and my mom (Stella) will be heading to Washington D.C. with me in early July. While I'm working (bummer!), those three will get to see the downtown D.C. sites. I made hotel reservations near the Mall since it's convenient for them and me - no switching metros like last trip (yeah).  Abby and Megan were pretty excited until they figured out that 'the mall' was not a shopping mall, but the expanse of grass between the Capitol and the Washington Monument. I look forward to the evenings when I'll get to show them the 'outskirts' of D.C.

Another trip in the making....

The Goulding family is heading out again for a five-day trip to the Hand Cove Resort & Norfork Lake near Elizabeth, Arkansas.  Our partners-in-crime this time around (pictures coming in the next couple of weeks...) - the Nickersons and S-I-L Marianne.  Watch for upcoming introductions and the trip planning.  And, in case you're wondering, roadsideamerica.com will be used again to plan for those exciting and unusual stops along the way!
